Attorney General Pam Bondi sent a letter to FBI Director Kash Patel on Thursday instructing him to look into allegations that FBI agents are concealing documents related to pedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein.
ThisdevelopmentcomesastheJusticeDepartmentreleasedthefirsttrancheofdocumentsrevealingEpstein’sallegedassociatestoconservativeonlineinfluencers.
Intheletter,Bondinotesthatshe“repeatedlyquestionedwhetherthiswasthefullsetofdocumentsresponsivetomyrequestandwasrepeatedlyassuredbytheFBIthatwehadreceivedthefullsetofdocuments.”
Theattorneygeneralindicatedthatshefoundoutthat“theFBIFieldOfficeinNewYorkwasinpossessionofthousandsofpagesofdocumentsrelatedtotheinvestigationandindictmentofEpstein.”
However,theBureau“neverdisclosedtheexistenceofthesefiles”eventhoughshehadrepeatedlyrequestedthem.
