House Speaker Mike Johnson has clarified remarks he made last week that suggested President Donald Trump worked as an FBI informant in the Jeffrey Epstein case, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.
Speaking to reporters Thursday, Johnson was asked by CNN’s Manu Raju why President Trump has described the Epstein case as a “hoax.” Johnson responded by saying Trump was referring to Democrats exploiting the issue for political purposes rather than the underlying crimes.
